The theory has been proven: with its unique properties, graphene is ready to conquer space.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With 1.000 participants, 40 conferences, and 9.000 qualified business meetings, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paris-space-week.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paris Space Week<\/a> was a great success, despite the sanitary crisis, demonstrating that its attendees are willing to innovate and move ahead, especially in the space sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trade show took place digitally last March 9\u201310, 2021, gathering the major players in aeronautics, space, and defense, as well as institutions, in order to examine the new challenges of space exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carbon Waters took advantage of the event and could thus meet big purchasers to explain them what are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbon-waters.com\/en\/applications\/\">graphene\u2019s many properties<\/a>. While they may be small, these nanoparticles could play a big role in the years ahead in the space sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recycling Rockets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to its ability to resist strong and physicial thermal constraints, graphene is the perfect solution to the miniaturizing of increasingly powerful electronic components. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbon-waters.com\/en\/interview-with-charlotte-gallois\/\">Charlotte Gallois<\/a> tells us, \u201c<em>Not only does it facilitate the discharge of excess heat, it also ensures better temperature diffusion<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Used as an <strong>additive,*<\/strong> it increases the useful life of materials by strengthening their resistance in environments that can be quite harsh, while not weighing them down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This \u201csuper power\u201d of graphene ticks all the boxes on the projects of several stakeholders, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spacex.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Space X<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/cnes.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CNES<\/a> which have already shown interest. In fact, these entities want to develop reusable capsules and components. Charlotte Gallois notes, \u201c<em>That requires materials that are both light and ultra-resistant to corrosion, heat, and shock<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbon-waters.com\/en\/new-anticorrosion-concentrate-made-of-graphene\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">graphene epoxy premix<\/a> is currently being tested.
