Read more about this product focused on respecting humans and nature from Alban Chesneau, CEO of Carbon Waters.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After two years of R&amp;D, Carbon Waters is marketing its first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbon-waters.com\/en\/new-anticorrosion-concentrate-made-of-graphene\/\">anticorrosion Masterbatch<\/a>. Manufactured in Pessac (Nouvelle-Aquitaine region), of preformulated graphene. The concentrate offers a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbon-waters.com\/en\/graphene-anti-corrosion-protector\/\">durable, high-performance solution<\/a> for building and construction professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As CEO Alban Chesneau explains, \u201c<em>Most anticorrosion products on the market are made from zinc. Zinc is unstable in water, and has proven to be highly toxic to aquatic fauna<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Unlike traditional formulations, our product is concerned with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbon-waters.com\/en\/is-graphene-toxic-to-human-health\/\">respects for humans and the environment.<\/a> It contains no organic solvents and no additives, and it remains stable for several months at ambient temperature.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Durable, Local Supply Chain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another major advantage is that the graphite used by Carbon Waters comes from Germany, where it is made synthetically. This preserves natural graphite resources. \u201c<em>It\u2019s a real benefit, because zinc-based formulations depend mostly on Asia, which holds 60% of deposits<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The health crisis has highlighted all the flaws in relying heavily on Asia for supplies and manufacturing<\/em>,\u201d says Alban Chesneau. \u201c<em>Now more than ever, it\u2019s important to have a closer, more durable supply chain<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One to Five Tons per Month by 2022<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Two industrial paint manufacturers are currently testing this new solution, while nearly a dozen more are entering the testing phase on our products in the first quarter of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions are also underway with the railroad, maritime, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbon-waters.com\/en\/graphene-for-aeronautics-and-space\/\">aeronautics <\/a>industries. \u201c<em>Requirements are very strict in these fields, and we are working together with several R&amp;D departments to continually improve the performance of our process<\/em>,\u201d adds Alban Chesneau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, the product\u2019s life cycle will be analyzed and its recycling potential studied in order to become a leader in nanomaterials eco-design. This is a worldwide first for a graphene-based product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This first year, Carbon Waters is planning on a production <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbon-waters.com\/en\/launch-of-our-reactor\/\">capacity of 20-30 liters\/month<\/a>. Then it will ramp up, with a goal of one ton\/month within 18 months.
